Last updated: 22 October 2025
1. Introduction
Growth Logic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information in connection with our website, products and services. It is drafted in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where relevant, internationally recognised standards such as the GDPR.
By using our website or services you consent to the processing activities described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the personal information necessary to provide and improve our services. This may include:
Identity & contact information: name, job title, company, email, telephone number, postal address.
Account and subscription details: username, billing details (payment processed via third-party gateways; we do not store full card details), plan type.
Business data provided to the platform: lead/contact records, form submissions and marketing assets entered by our clients into the system.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, cookies and usage data collected via analytics.
Communications data: correspondence with customer support or account teams, recorded support interactions.
We collect information via forms, account sign-up, support interactions and automated analytics.
3. Legal basis and purpose of processing
We process personal information to:
Provide, operate and maintain our services and user accounts;
Communicate with you (support, service notifications, billing);
Deliver features you request (e.g., email delivery, contact management);
Improve our service and conduct product analytics;
Comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Under POPIA, our lawful bases include the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and legitimate interests (where these do not override data subject rights). For marketing communications we rely on consent where required.
4. Use of service providers and processors
We use trusted third-party service providers to support our operations (for example: hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and support tools). These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and to process data only for the purposes instructed by Growth Logic.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data security and storage
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Measures include access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where available, secure backups and role-based access management.
Personal data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure and retained only for as long as necessary to provide services or to meet legal obligations. When data is no longer required it will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
6. International transfers
Where processing involves cross-border transfers, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (contractual protections or equivalent measures) to provide a comparable level of protection to that required by POPIA and applicable privacy laws.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience and for analytics. You can control cookie preferences via your browser settings; please note that disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
8. Data subject rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
Request access to personal data held about you;
Request correction or deletion of inaccurate or unnecessary data;
Request restriction of processing;
Object to processing based on legitimate interests;
Withdraw consent at any time for marketing communications;
Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe your data rights have been breached.
To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes prescribed by law.
9. Retention policy
Personal data is retained for as long as required to provide services, comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Standard retention periods are: account and billing records (minimum 5 years where required), active customer data for the duration of the subscription, and anonymised analytics retained for product improvement.
10. Children and minors
Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it.
